Losing Kevin Durant to the Golden State Warriors was incredibly difficult for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
However, instead of hanging his head for the entire campaign without his former friend and teammate, OKC point guard Russell Westbrook went out there and carried a mediocre team to the playoffs by averaging a triple double for the season, which earned him the NBA MVP award on Monday night.
