The art of the swim move slide has been evolving in MLB in recent years, with many different techniques being used to avoid tags in ballparks around the country.
This tag evasion by Houston Astros outfielder George Springer took the swim move to a new level.
That is one pretty swim move.
Not only did he contort his body to avoid the glove, but he also had to tilt his arms and reach around the legs of Oakland A’s infielder Jed Lowrie to reach the bag without being tagged.
The judges give this maneuver a 10/10.
Well done.
